Our Lady of Mercy Academy is involved with innovative shopping programs to benefit the school with reimbursements from merchants. The best thing is that these contributions cost you, the consumer, nothing at all.  You get dollar for dollar value for your money.  Here are all the details....

SCRIP PROGRAM: What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a year-round, fundraiser with proceeds directly benefiting the children of OLM Academy. Gift cards are purchased at a discount, and the discount is our profit. The gift cards are the same you would receive had you run around to all the stores yourself! iTunes are even available!!!!

Also, there are gift cards available for retailers outside of our immediate area. This makes shopping for friends and family members not living close by a snap!

How do I purchase gift cards?

There are a few ways:

bulletVisit the SCRIP table after every Mass. You will find a wide selection of our most popular items.
bullet Fill out the SCRIP Family Order Form, and send it to school via your child’s back-pack in an envelope marked “ATTN: SCRIP PROGRAM.” Include a check made payable to OLM – HSA. Stock items will be sent home immediately. Special buys require a turnaround time of 2 – 4 business days.

***Since our SCRIP provider offers more retailers than are listed on our order form, please feel free to visit their website @ www.glscrip.com for an up-to-date list of retailers.

How can I help support the SCRIP Program during the year?

First, plan ahead and try to purchase your gift cards through our SCRIP Program: Birthdays, holidays, coaches’ gifts, gas and food store purchases are all opportunities to help the children of OLM Academy.

Second, please volunteer some of your time to sell SCRIP. Gift cards are sold after Mass and family orders are filled during school hours. Please use the attached Volunteer Sign-up Sheets and donate a little of your time.

WEB SHOPPING:  www.Technology4Kids.com Help our school without spending any extra money.  When you shop at your favorite stores, Our Lady of Mercy Academy can earn technology products, computers, printers, software, and more. Choose from over 200 merchants both online and in-store. For online shopping go to: www.Technology4Kids.com and register to our school. For in-store shopping, simply save your receipts and UPC codes and send them to school c/o: Technology4Kids Coordinator.   An example of some of the stores that participates are: Toys R Us, Target, Lands' End, amazon.com, L.L.Bean, etc.   Now you can download Reminder4Kids.  By downloading Reminder4Kids, our school will earn 1,000 bonus points.  This will remind you to go through the web site and earn points when shopping on-line.

SHOPPING AT TARGET:  Target donates 1% of all qualified purchases to our school.  Just fill out an application form at a Target Store and include Our Lady of Mercy as your school of choice and use our identification number:  10588.  You can also call 1-800-316-6142 if you already have a card but do not have OLM as your school of choice.  www.target.com
